ACE Publication Library

The SOAS Anti-Corruption Evidence (ACE) research consortium – led by SOAS, University of London – takes an innovative approach to anti-corruption policy and practice. They had a previouly built website, but this was becoming difficult to manage and update so the whole site was re-built using a new theme. Then a custom document library was added. This involved:

  • Custom post types and taxonomies
  • Setting up special templates for these
  • Selecting and configuring an advanced search plugin
  • Selecting and configuring a post filtering plugin

Howard Shooter – Food Photographer

Howard Shooter is an award winning food photographer with nearly 30 years expertise . He has been a finalist in the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year ten times including 2023. Several years ago he needed his website moved over to WordPress and then this year (2024) totally re-designed. Also several other website were built for Howard:

  • A site for his personal photography
  • A site to showcase his studio hire business
  • An eCommerce site to help him sell food prints

John Sandoe Books Ltd

John Sandoe Books Ltd, a renowned bookstore in Chelsea, required a website redesign and the entire book catalog to be made available online. The project involved:

  • A specialized eCommerce system was developed, featuring both a 'quote' request option and bespoke functionality for sorting and searching.
  • Collaboration with the bookstore’s design and branding specialist ensured the implementation of custom designs across the site.
  • Assisting in the procurement of a dedicated hosting platform.
As the launch neared, a bulk upload solution was created and used to add over 20,000 products to the site. Additionally, ongoing systems and processes were established for the seamless addition of new catalogues.
