Project summary
Howard Shooter is an award winning food photographer with nearly 30 years expertise . He has been a finalist in the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year ten times including 2023. Several years ago he needed his website moved over to WordPress and then this year (2024) totally re-designed. Also several other website were built for Howard:
- A site for his personal photography
- A site to showcase his studio hire business
- An eCommerce site to help him sell food prints
The client and requirments
Howard Shooter is an award winning food photographer with nearly 30 years expertise . He has been a finalist in the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year ten times including 2023.
Some years ago he decided that he wanted to move his main website over to WordPress and then later have additional websites built to showcase other parts of his business.
The projects
- Howard’s main site was originally built on a proprietary system that was cumbersome to update. The entire site was re-built to look identical, but with WordPress, allowing for easier updates. New content and images were added during the rebuild.
- A separate site was then created from scratch to showcase Howard’s personal and travel photography, following a design similar to the main site.
- Next, Howard’s website for his food studio business was also rebuilt in WordPress, with significant improvements and additional content.
- Following this, an eCommerce site was launched to promote and sell Howard’s food prints.
- Throughout these projects, a multi-site package with WP Engine hosting was set up and configured for all sites.
- Most recently, Howard’s main site was fully redesigned and rebuilt.
